For the Humboldtian Ideal of Education
A university is far more than a vendor of science and education: We must resist the reduction of research and teaching to purely economic ideals. Moral and ethical dimensions must be taken into account in both research and teaching. Academic freedom must also apply to research and teaching staff.

For an Open and Democratic University
We stand for a fair and open-minded university. We promote free formation and expression of opinion. We advocate for equality at all levels. We oppose all forms of discrimination, including antisemitism and racism. We support measures and initiatives that promote sustainability across all areas of the university.
Our Goals.

- We continue to demand grace periods when transitioning between fixed-term contracts.
- We call for a clear separation between academic and disciplinary supervisory responsibilities.
- Expansion of our presence and representation at the Homburg campus.

- Protection against unjustified warnings, dismissals, and planned structural reduction of staff positions.
Forward-Looking Human Resources Development – Valuing Work!
- Continued implementation of the "Future Contract for Strengthening Teaching and Learning."
- We advocate for the longest possible contract durations.
- Reliable career prospects through targeted support for early-career researchers – both within and beyond academia.
- Ensuring quality supervision during doctoral and postdoctoral qualification phases.
- Enforcing at least the legally mandatory time for your own qualification in positions meant for qualification.
- Guaranteeing sufficient time for your own qualification also within third-party funded projects.
